It’s been a crazy week full of news. First I found out my sister is not only moving out of my dad’s house and in with her boyfriend, but they are also moving to Toronto! the emotion for me was surprise.

But the final and crazy bit of news happened this morning. My friend wrote to me a very well composed email telling me a bit about her life… her intense week. and then she said she had a surprise, something she needed to talk to someone about and hadn’t been able to since it was a big secret… and then she told me she’s going to be an aunt. She has 2 brothers, one older (28) who has been with his girlfriend for like 6 years and one younger (22) who’s been with his girlfriend for a few months.

She basically let me assume the obvious, that it was her older brother and then she told me that it was the younger one of the two. Which made my jaw drop. It was also surprising how happy she sounded about it and I immediately wanted to call her, since curiosity was a consequence of all this information. She manipulated the tension really well through her writting and when i finally found out i was hugely surprised, to a point that it was hard to concentrate on my class which was just starting as I finished reading and closed my computer.
